Free iCloud Storage Offer for MobileMe Users to End

Apple’s goodwill gesture to what was once MobileMe members will be coming to a close on September 30th. Members can keep their 20GB plan for a fee or move their data elsewhere and stick with the free 5GB plan.

Cupertino launched the promotion in May 2012, in an attempt to comfort those affected by MobileMe's demise; the company offered paying customers a matching 20GB of space in the cloud upon renewing service.
