Mozilla Unveils ‘Aggressive’ Firefox OS Schedule

Mozilla has announced a proposed timetable for upgrades and updates for its Firefox OS. The company is planning on keeping the frequency of releases to be in line with that of the Firefox browser. If this is the schedule Mozilla will attempt to follow, Firefox OS will be getting four major upgrades per year.

Despite this promise, Mozilla was smart not to give a specific date, so it can adjust its schedule as things go. It’s thus not clear when exactly we can expect Firefox OS 2.0.
