Washington State System Court System Hacked

On Thursday a statement was released by Washington State confirming the February hacking of the state’s court computer system exposing 160K Social Security numbers and potentially millions of driver’s license numbers. The risk of exposure is limited to citizens arrested in Washington State since 1989.

"The access occurred through a ‘back door' part of a commercial software product we were using, and it is patched now."
