Call of Duty: Ghosts ’Beta Invite’ Scam Sites on the Prowl

In the rush to beat everyone else to get Beta keys, many gamers will ignore the obvious danger signals from unscrupulous websites set up to take advantage of the promotion fever and excitement of the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Reports have been coming in that the poser sites will be ramping up their efforts with information collection scams as the game release date nears. As with everything on the Internet, take the proper precautions before handing out your personal info.

Call of Duty:Ghosts is set to launch on November 5th and it will be heading to a variety of systems, including the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, and the next-gen Xbox. Microsoft will be showing off the first gameplay footage of Ghosts come May 21st when it unveils its next-gen Xbox.
