Yahoo and Facebook in Advanced Settlement Negotiations

It’s possible that Facebook and Yahoo are getting close to an agreement on a mutual settlement in their months old multi-lawsuits and counter suits. Both sides appear to be more willing to negotiate since Yahoo’s recent change of CEOs and replacement of several board members.

Facebook is also very motivated to get rid of the problem, especially because its recent borked IPO has taken up a lion’s share of the media and investor perception and attention.
