Flickr to Dump Picnik Photo-Editing Features

Users of Flickr will soon notice the absence of one of their favorite tools in the upcoming months. For unannounced reasons, Picnik photo editing will no longer be available from Google. Neither Google nor Flickr would comment on the removal of the service.

Flickr, one of Yahoo’s most-beloved products, has allowed its members one-click access to Picnik’s suite of walk-in-the-park style photo-editing features for more than four years running.
