One Laptop Per Child Debuts Rugged Tablet at CES
The utilitarian XO 3.0 tablet designed for use by children of third world countries will be introduced at CES on Monday. The tablet sports a new processor, runs Android or Linux operating systems, runs on solar power or hand crank, is built for all weather conditions and is inexpensive to produce. The organization has already distributed almost 2.5 million units all over the world.
