Computer Glitch Grounds All US Airways Flights

A power outage in Phoenix is blamed for bringing down the entire data center, effectively grounding all flights of US Airways. The outage occurred early Friday evening with no estimate of complete restoration of operations, but some systems were reported back up at 8:45 pm.

In a statement, the airline said it was experiencing a computer systems outage that affected its website, usairways.com, and the airline's airport computer systems.
