Barnes and Noble announced the release of a new updated App for its Nook Android 2.1 and higher. The update gives users a wider range of subscription preference.

Today's announcement marks the largest digital newsstand offering for Android tablet customers to date, with more than 140 of the best daily, weekly and monthly periodicals, all optimized for high-resolution displays in rich color.
