AMD and Acceleware Collaborate to Offer OpenCL Education

AMD today announced a collaboration with Acceleware whereby the companies will deliver professional training programs to help developers learn how to create applications that comply with OpenCL™ standards. This announcement follows AMD’s recent introduction of the OpenCL™ University Kit, a set of course materials designed for universities to teach semester-long courses in OpenCL programming. The jointly developed OpenCL courses from AMD and Acceleware are designed to support professional software developers by providing ongoing education opportunities around OpenCL, the non-proprietary industry standard for true heterogeneous computing across platforms.
