Chrome Notebooks to be Released This Summer

The evolution of the Google Chrome CR-48 notebook will take a sharp turn this summer in the form of subscription based distribution. Exact details are sketchy, but it is reported the subscription will be on a monthly lease basis and also options to purchase the notebook outright.

Neowin can now confirm from a reliable source that the Google Chrome OS based notebooks will be available for "purchase" in late June/early July.
