Yahoo to Keep Search Records Longer

While the whole world is heading towards a "do-not-track" system, Yahoo is pedal to the medal in reverse (as usual). The company announced today that it will keep search records 18 months instead of the current 90 days.

Yahoo plans to extend the amount of time it retains user search records to 18 months from 90 days, and will consider keeping other types of information about its users for longer durations, too.
