Is France Plotting to Kill the Free Internet?

French President Nicolas Sarkozy obviously has an agenda concerning how the internet should be regulated. He has planned a high level meeting with G8 politicians and corporate bigwigs to discuss future plans for what is now, the free internet.

I can’t help be concerned at what the summit might mean, given it’s essentially a closed shop of governments and corporations discussing how best to carve up the online world for us.
