New Twist On An Old Craigslist Scam

You know the old "I'll mail a check, you forward the extra to the shippers" scam? They are now using it on people looking for work.

During his job search, Wanamaker found an ad for a house that needed to be cleaned. He replied to the ad and exchanged emails with the person who claimed to be the owner of the home. Wanamaker says the man told him he would receive a $2,000 check in the mail. The presumed homeowner also asked that Wanamaker forward some money to a painter.
