Cell Phones, Texting and Common Sense

Cell phones, texting and common sense? Do those things even go together? Obviously the real issue here is common sense, if people used it...there wouldn't be a problem with texting or cell phones.

Many employers ban cell phone use, some even in break areas. In most occupations, it isn't safe to talk on the cell phone or text while working. It distracts workers from their jobs. I wouldn't want my doctor, dentist, bus driver, roofer, electrician, child care provider, child's teacher, bank clerk or pilot to text while working. I wouldn't even want my hairstylist, waiter or grocery store clerk to be on his cell phone while waiting on me.
