Spotify Apologizes for Malware Attack

Spotify is having a rough day after finding out it was serving up malware infested ads to its customers. Making matters worse, the story I just linked is on the Better Business Bureau's website.

Online music streaming service Spotify has apologized for unknowingly serving a malware infected advertisement on its platform. IT Proportal states that the advertisement displayed a an ad-supported free desktop version of the service, however, installed a fake malware infected anti-virus program on users' computers instead.
