Tech Giants to Advise G8 Summit
At the request of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, the chief executives of Facebook, Google, eBay and Twitter will be invited to Paris to formulate ideas on the future of the internet. They will meet with their counterparts from other countries to help President Sarkozy present internet issues for the G8 agenda.
No formal invitations have yet been sent awaiting an agreement in principal from the other Group of Eight nations - Britain, Canada, Italy, Germany, Japan, Russia and the United States.
