The Real Reason Charlie Sheen Joined Twitter: Money

Not to put this on an entertainment footing, but Charlie Sheen has just set the record for reaching a total of 1 million followers on Twitter in a little over 25 hours according to Entertainment Weekly. While the majority of people are debating whether or not he is just plain crazy, the vote is now swinging toward "crazy like a fox". Even when he has a meltdown, he makes money.

Sheen told TMZ the reason that he joined the social media site was to make cash from endorsed tweets, and with celebrities like Kim Kardashian making a reported $10,000 per posting, the fact that Sheen has so many followers makes him appealing to advertisers
