Xoom 4G Upgrade Could Take More Than Six Days

The Xoom tablet was released this week and has been drawing some unwanted media attention ever since. The latest to-do is the controversy over the impending 4G update scheduled later this quarter. All that is required is to box up your Xoom and send it back to Moto, simple no? The Gadget Lab over at Wired has the 411 for all of you early buyers.

When Motorola announced the tablet last month, it said users would be able to upgrade it for use on Verizon's 4G LTE network. At the time, Motorola didn’t say how it would manage such an upgrade.
