Motorola Sued Over Use of Xoom Name

The Xoom Corporation is suing Motorola for trademark infringement along with a host of other charges over the newly released Xoom tablet. The California based company is requesting a restraining order for Motorola using the Xoom name pending a trial and is seeking damages.

Motorola has "created a false association" between the Xoom tablet and Xoom Corp., an association that does not exist, the filing said.
