China Cleans Up Spam Problem
China has been working to rein in the rampant spam content coming from its 420 million internet users since 2006. The effort has paid off, taking China from the number 3 position all the way to number 20 according to security vendor Sophos.
"It's probably more about censorship than about stopping spam, but the net effect is that it has stopped spam."
