Scientists Build First "Anti-laser"

In a paper published back in July for Physical Reviews Letters, the theory of producing an anti-laser was proposed. The scientists at Yale University took that theory and produced the first anti-laser device. The name sounds ominous, but the uses for the technology are aimed squarely on building an optical computer in the not-so-distant future.
