FCC Cracking Down on Cell Phone Jammers

The FCC is putting retailers on notice about selling the popular cell phone jammer through their outlets. The FCC wanted to make it clear to the retailers that such devices are strictly illegal. Major sales outlets such as Amazon and Target have received notification, as well as manufacturers of the devices.

Cell-phone jammers have become popular devices in theaters and restaurants in some cities in an effort to create a quiet and non-disruptive environment for customers.
