Updated Sandy Point Chipsets Due to Ship

Intel has made good on its promise to fix the flaw in the chipset in rapid fashion. The replacement chipsets will begin shipping out on Monday to OEM’s. Intel is making the repair sets available; it is now up to the OEM’s to complete the task in the same rapid fashion.

On Monday (February 14th) Intel will begin shipping updated B3 stepping Cougar Point chipsets to fix the Sandy Bridge flaw announced a few weeks ago.
