It’s nothing new, it happens at each and every mega-event: Cyber-criminals trying their best to part you from your cash by any means necessary. The prime target is Super Bowl commercials on the internet using the usual phishing, redirects and fake ads.

Spammers and hackers often take advantage of major media events such as the Super Bowl to target users, according to security researchers.
