Giant Archaeological Trove Found in Google Earth

Archeologist are now using Google Earth to find potential dig sites. Whatever, we're not impressed. We've found cool stuff with Google Earth too...mostly stuff like tax evaders with phallic shaped pools, the Loch Ness monster, Atlantis and the only dead pixel in Google Earth.

To scour the globe for archaeological sites these days all you need is a desktop computer. Almost two thousand potential archaeological sites in Saudi Arabia have been discovered from an office chair in Perth, Australia, thanks to high-resolution satellite images from Google Earth.
