US Rolling Out Less Revealing Airport Scanners

Even though the TSA has spent months reassuring the public that there is nothing wrong with the old airport scanners, the agency is rolling a new line of scanners today. Apparently these new scanners can see pipe bombs but not YOUR pipe and bombs.

The new software "enhances privacy by eliminating passenger-specific images and instead auto-detects potential threat items and indicates their location on a generic outline of a person," the TSA said.
