Text Message of Death

For the five billion or so of us, who carry feature phones (non-smart phones) who thought their phones were attack proof, think again. Two German security students have found the SMS protocol that can take out even the simplest of cellphones. Oh joy!

SMS-o-Death does not permanently kill a mobile phone, but the problem could prove very difficult to fix and its tricks could exasperate targeted people to no end
