Acer Denies Phasing Out Netbooks for Tablets

Lately there has been a spate of denials coming from companies over different issues, the latest being Acer. An Acer spokesperson spoke out of hand to a reporter from Computer World this week, Acer has been quick to deny the validity of the statement.

"Acer Inc. confirms that the company will not phase out netbooks in favor of tablets," Acer said in its Jan. 19 statement.
