Graphene Won't Replace Silicon in CPUs

According to a report by Bit-tech, IBM has reversed its initial assessment of the uses for graphene. Initially, IBM touted graphene as a replacement for silicon in computer manufacturing.

Graphene, in its current research state, may not replace silicon as the main material for building CPUs, but continued research should eventually lead it to a strong foothold in the future of nanoelectronics.
