New Printer Technology, Lower Costs
Printing technology has been stagnant in years past, but that is about to change according to Len Lauer, CEO of Memjet. Initially targeting the commercial sector, Memjet technology can be adapted to other markets and eventually end-using consumers needing faster color printing at a much lower cost.
In a demonstration this week at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, a prototype of the office printer churned out color pages, one per second, of a quality indistinguishable from a good inkjet printer.
