Skype Moving to the Internet

Internet phone network Skype is making the big move to the Internet. The new site and premium features are scheduled to go operational with its web-based service sometime in the first quarter of 2011.

Obviously VoIP service is going to play an increasingly important role in the coming years, and it sounds like if Skype has its way, it will become a standard feature on many of the web’s most popular sites.
