Scientist Discover ‘Assassin’ Protein

Scientists have discovered an "assassin" protein that kills rogue cells. Wait a minute…assassin and rogue? This must be the scientific equivalent of "ninjas versus pirates."

For the first time, scientists have discovered an "assassin" protein which attacks and kills rogue cells to protect the human immune system, a breakthrough that can lead to new treatments for a host of diseases, including cancer, malaria and diabetes.
