Facebook Sues Faceporn Over Trademark Infringement

In a lawsuit filed October 15th, Facebook is taking look-alike site Faceporn to task and to court. The sites are designed in a similar fashion and the names are close, but the content is very, very different. Faceporn may have gotten the message. The website has been down since October 20th.

"Where there is brand tarnishment, dilution, or confusion as there is with Faceporn and Facebook, we must enforce our rights to protect the integrity of our trademark."
