Slowdown in HDD Shipments Signal Trouble for PC Market?

According to DigiTimes, a drop in hard drive demand in Q2 2010 could be a sign of a slowdown in the PC market.

"The worldwide PC market was up 25% in the first half of 2010 over the same period in 2009," noted Robert Castellano, president of The Information Network. "Looking further down the supply chain, hard drive shipments in the second quarter of 2010 were down 4% sequentially but up 23% from the second quarter of 2009."
