Intel Adds Solar Energy To Two Campuses

Today, Intel unveiled new solar installations on its campuses in Folsom, CA and Chandler, AZ. Intel's Folsom solar installation is its biggest solar site to-date, generating enough energy to power 175 homes. Intel's Chandler solar roof system is capable of generating approximately 25% of the building's energy peak demand. This news is part of Intel's larger solar commitment, announced in January 2010, and just the latest aspect of Intel's diverse energy portfolio.
