Openness To Decide Whether ‘Google Me’ Is Genius or Garbage

Hey everybody, let’s all speculate on an unconfirmed rumor about Google’s answer to Facebook. C’mon, it’ll be fun! I like how the article asks "genius or garbage" about something that doesn’t even exist yet.

Speculation about the service stems from a single deleted tweet by Digg CEO Kevin Rose, in which he said there was a "huge rumor" that Google was planning a Facebook competitor called "Google Me." Google would not confirm to Wired.com that it is working on a new social network, and even if it is, Google Me may not be the title, in part because it’s already a song and a movie.
