Computer Pioneer Skeptical of Computers.
Max Palevsky passed away on Wednesday at the age of 85. His resume in the computer industry is a laundry list that includes hardware like the g-15 and companies like Intel. He was in the mix of the computer realm being born. He helped shape the direction of today's computing through start up investments into Intel. The ironic thing is he always showed skepticism towards technology.
Palevsky did not own a computer or a cell phone in 2008, according to the Los Angeles Times. "I haven't touched a computer, watched TV or used a credit card in 15 years," he told the paper in 2001.
