New Netflix Deals Mean More Streaming Movies

Netflix has signed contracts with Twentieth Century Fox and Universal along with Warner Bros earlier this year to provide more content, but delays the rentals for 28 days. This move is to give the studios a potential for greater profit from DVD/BluRay sales.

Can't wait to rent "Avatar" on DVD or Blu-ray? Well, if you're a Blockbuster subscriber, the day you've been waiting for arrives in just a couple of weeks. If you're a Netflix user, though, don't expect to find "Avatar" in your mailbox until mid-May.
