Proposed Law Would Single Out Cybercrime Havens

Alright all you cyber criminals, the authorities are coming for you. Well, you know…sorta…they’ll get you eventually…once the politicians quit fighting...and they get the law passed…a budget…a timeline….international cooperation....crap. On second thought, never mind, you guys aren’t in any danger.

The International Cybercrime Reporting and Cooperation Act takes on a growing problem for banks and U.S. businesses: the ability for cybercriminals to operate with impunity across international borders. The bill is co-sponsored by Senators Kirsten Gillibrand, a Democrat from New York, and Orrin Hatch, a Republican from Utah.
