Sales of Video Games Continue To Plummet

While Xbox hardware sales figures were on top this month as reported earlier, Nintendo's overall sales continued to lead. While sales are still down over 15% from last year.

With February sales down 15 percent compared with the same period last year... Microsoft and Nintendo led console sales for the month with 422,000 Xbox 360s and 397,000 Wii consoles sold, respectively. Nintendo’s portable player, the DS, led overall hardware sales with 613,000 units sold

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has some news here too,

Modern Warfare 2 has become the third-best-selling game of all-time, now at just under 10 million units life-to-date.

Which we can assume they mean best selling non-handheld game, as games like Nintendogs and Pokemon have sold more than 14 Million units.

Wow...really? Nintendogs?
