Digg 2.0 Unveiled At SXSW

If you are a Digg aficionado and were indiggnant (sorry, I couldn't resist) over the speed of it's operation, there is hope on the horizon. An announcement was made Saturday night on a complete upgrade of the system is in the works to Version 2.0. Let's just hope it wasn't the liquor talking

Just before Digg founder Kevin Rose and his Diggnation partner Alex Albrecht took the stage at Stubb's BBQ here, CEO Jay Adelson got in front of the audience of hundreds and took the opportunity to introduce, for the first time, what he said was "five years" of major work on the popular headline aggregation system.
