Microsoft Sends Flowers, Card for Internet Explorer 6 Funeral

And they say Microsoft Corp has no sense of humor. We know that is not true....just look back at Windows Me and Vista. The Microsoft Internet Explorer team sent their fond farewell, a nice card and some flowers they picked from the front of the office to mark the passing of a forgettable browser. May it rest in pieces.

While it might seem unusual for a company to take part in a veiled celebration of the death of one of its products, the fact is that Microsoft is just as happy as anyone else to see IE6 riding into the sunset, and perhaps more. The company has urged people and companies to move to newer, more secure versions of the browser
