Verizon Sued in Class-Action Over Phantom Data Fees
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Verizon for illegally charging phantom data fees.
Filed in a New Jersey federal court, the complaint echoes known allegations that Verizon has been randomly charging customers with regular cellphones $2 on their bills for data they never used. The suit would compensate any Verizon customer that can prove they saw the fees on their bills.
