Windows Mobile 6.5 SE Update Pictured
Fans of Windows Mobile will be happy to know that the rumored 6.5 Second Edition update is indeed being worked on and Electronista has screen caps of some of the new features. The biggest change is the redesigned interface that better supports capacitive touchscreens and finger typing.
Where the existing software has the original Windows Mobile keyboard originally designed for PDAs and styluses in the early part of the decade, the new version has much larger keys designed for finger input and different layouts for certain contextual situations, including a number pad and directional pad when the alphabet isn't required.
