Mobile Phone Use Causes Physical Change to Brain, Study Finds

Research performed by the Swedish Research Council has found an association between mobile phone usage and blood levels of a protein called transthyretin that is linked to the fluid that cushions the brain. Zombies that like a moist brain will now be targeting heavy phone users so beware! wink

An increase in transthyretin may not be any cause for concern, but it does indicate that cell phone use does have some biological effect on the brain, said researcher Fredrik Söderqvist. The same study found that children and teenagers who were heavy cell phone users were more likely to report health problems, including headaches and impaired concentration.
