Office 2010 Public Beta Leaked to BitTorrent

As can be expected, the public beta for Microsoft Office 2010 has been leaked to the web via BitTorrent a week before its expected unveiling. Both 32- and 64-bit versions are available with plenty of seeds. Before you pause your Linux distro downloads, consider that the beta client requires an activation key. As always with the wild web frontier, be wary of hidden programs in these leaks as they often harbor Trojans and other nasty malware.

Previews of Office 2010 have leaked before official availability twice already this year. In May, a week after Microsoft announced that it would issue the Technical Preview in the summer, an early edition showed up on BitTorrent. The same thing happened in July, when the Technical Preview went public hours before Microsoft revealed the invite-only test program at its Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC).
