Acer Expects to Overtake Dell

Acer's President Gianfranco Lanci says that he expects his company to overtake Dell and become the number two PC maker in the world "soon."

"We don't expect revenue to decline this year, which is outstanding, compared to our competitors. Therefore, we're [expecting] good growth in 2010 again," Mr. Lanci said at a news conference in London. "Between this quarter and the next, we can finally pass Dell," he added.
