Lunar Lander Gets Flash, 3D Makeover

Remember that old video game Lunar Lander? If you’re lucky enough to live in a city with an air/space museum of some sort, they might have the game there as a demo. GeekDad found a 3D refresh of that old, frustrating game. Time to get my crash on (since that’s all I ever did in the original too)!

If you're a geek who was born before 1975 or wrote a computer program before 1990, the name "Lunar Lander" probably has a special meaning to you. Instead of thinking about Armstrong and Aldrin, your mind goes first to a monochrome vector graphics display, and trying desperately not to drain the fuel tank while straining not to come in too fast.
