Carl Icahn Raises His Stake in Yahoo

According to the Associate Press, shares of Yahoo are up today after it was discovered that Carl Icahn bought an additional seven million shares in Yahoo. Does Icahn know something we don’t or is he just bargain shopping?

A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission says the billionaire hedge-fund manager snapped up about $67 million worth of shares during the first three days of this week. That's on top of the original $1.5 billion worth of Yahoo shares Icahn had previously bought. Icahn has been among the loudest voices arguing for a new direction at Yahoo.
